Begin your journey at the Maya Devi Temple, the most sacred monument in Lumbini, built around the exact birthplace of Lord Buddha. Explore the ancient archaeological remains and view the revered Marker Stone, believed to indicate the precise spot where Queen Maya Devi gave birth to Prince Siddhartha over 2,500 years ago. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, meet your guide and continue with a picturesque drive to Dhulikhel (1,550m), a charming hill town nestled on the eastern rim of the Kathmandu Valley. Renowned for its breathtaking Himalayan panoramas, traditional Newari heritage, and peaceful atmosphere, Dhulikhel has long been a favorite retreat for travelers seeking natural beauty and cultural authenticity.
